Our Workforce Training Program is made possible through grant funding, individual donors, fundraisers, and a lot of community support.
What is workforce training?
Evanston Rebuilding Warehouse’s Workforce Training Program is a paid career training initiative offering comprehensive instruction in deconstruction, construction, warehousing and customer service as well as professional readiness skills for individuals facing barriers to employment. Our program is designed to help our trainees get and keep jobs in the building trade.
We take a holistic approach to job training supporting barrier reduction from onboarding through graduation. The program is strengthened through our partnerships with The Moran Center, Curt’s Cafe, Opportunity Advancement Innovation Inc. (OAI), McGaw YMCA, the City of Evanston and National Able Network.
