What does your partnership mean?
Our partnership with the Rebuilding Exchange allows us to serve more people through a larger workforce training program, divert more building materials from landfills, meet Chicagoland’s reclaimed material needs, develop greater educational programs and so much more.
Are you changing your company name?
What we’re going to call ourselves, we’re not quite sure. We’re really focused on bringing you a bigger, stronger organization and serving more people in our community, but we’ll keep you posted as soon as we figure it out.
What will happen to my financial donation?
Whether you donate money here or to Rebuilding Exchange here your financial contributions will be used to help our new joint organization serve our community and our mission.
Are you closing one location?
Have no fear. Neither location will be closing as a result of our partnership. In fact, you will see more materials and products, a larger capacity for donations as well as the expansion of programs you love across locations.
Will your store hours change?
Not at the moment. Evanston Rebuilding Warehouse will remain open Monday through Saturday 10AM – 6PM at 1245 Hartrey Avenue, Evanston, IL 60202 and Rebuilding Exchange will be open Monday through Sunday 10AM – 6PM at 1740 W. Webster Avenue Chicago, IL 60614
Can I donate the same things at both locations?
You can continue to make the same types of reclaimed material donations at both locations that you always have. Continue to reach out to us here with all material donation inquiries.
