Make a Leopold Bench

April 18, 10:00 am to 2:00 pm
Evanston Rebuilding Warehouse, 2101 DEMPSTER ST, Evanston Rebuilding Warehouse, Evanston

Aldo Leopold was a conservationist, forester, philosopher, educator, writer, and outdoor enthusiast.

The Leopold family used this bench design at their farm on the Wisconsin River and it became known as the "Leopold Bench." We think Aldo would approve of this workshop where we will build his bench from reclaimed lumber, saved from the landfill by our own workforce trainees.
